New Dubai bridge cuts World Trade Centre journey time from 10 minutes to two
Two-lane link improves access towards Al Mustaqbal and Za’abeel Palace streets
DUBAI – The Roads and Transport Authority has opened a new bridge near Dubai World Trade Centre, significantly reducing journey times for motorists travelling through the area.
The new infrastructure forms part of the Al Mustaqbal Street Development Project. It is designed to improve traffic movement for vehicles leaving Dubai World Trade Centre and the One Central development.
The RTA said the new bridge has reduced the travel time for motorists heading towards Al Mustaqbal Street and Za’abeel Palace Street from about 10 minutes to two minutes. The development provides a more direct route through one of Dubai’s key commercial areas.

The 500-metre, two-lane bridge serves traffic coming from Dubai World Trade Centre and One Central buildings towards Al Mustaqbal Street and Za’abeel Palace Street.

The new link is intended to improve traffic flow and provide motorists with a faster connection to the surrounding road network. Its opening is part of wider development work aimed at enhancing movement along Al Mustaqbal Street.
According to the RTA, the project will help ease congestion in the area while allowing drivers travelling through the district to complete their journeys more efficiently.
The bridge also provides a direct connection for traffic leaving the World Trade Centre and One Central, helping streamline vehicle movement towards the surrounding destinations.
